Our first priority during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic is to keep everyone who is in our community and team safe and healthy.
All of our team, members, and guests are required to provide proof of vaccination and current booster shot to enter our space at 709 N. 2nd Street. Physical cards and digital photos are accepted. You will only need to do this once, on your first visit.
If you have previously shown us your vaccination ID upon visiting the space, please check-in with us again so we can add your booster status to our records.
We do not store any personal information along with your vaccination status, nor copies/photos of your proof of vaccination.
While we understand that there are various, legitimate reasons someone may not be able to provide proof of vaccination, we will not be making exceptions for any reason at this time. We feel this is the best decision for the health and safety of the community and thank you for your cooperation.
All members and staff are required to check-in at an iPad station near the front door. This information is stored privately and securely, and may be used to help us with responsible reporting of a potential COVID19 exposure.
Check-in data that is older than 14 days can be deleted by request.
If you feel sick, regardless of vaccination status, please stay home. You must stay home if you are symptomatic, or have been exposed to someone else who is.
If you are traveling (for work or pleasure), or attending any events larger than 10 people, we strongly encourage you to take a COVID test prior to coming to our space regardless of whether or not you are feeling any symptoms. We can’t and won’t police this, but expect members to do the right thing.
After providing proof of vaccination and booster shot, mask-wearing will be optional members, staff, and guests at Indy Hall.
Members are encouraged to bring their own masks, and Indy Hall will offer a limited amount of KN95 masks for free in our space.
The building has a brand new, top of the line HVAC system with premium filtration, as well as lots of openable windows for natural airflow. Outdoor seating is also available, as long as the weather allows.
We’re doing everything we can to make sure that our return to a physical space is as safe and comfortable as possible, and we know that effort is shared by every individual who visits our space.
We may receive new information or learn better methods to ensure everyone’s safety, and when that happens, the Indy Hall Team will communicate those updates as quickly and widely as we can. We appreciate your attention, flexibility, and support when that happens.
We know we can’t make this transition possible without you, and we’re so grateful for your contributions, understanding, and shared interest in caring for the well-being of fellow members.

We want to thank the Trellis community in San Francisco for their help and inspiration for this page. Much of the language above was borrowed and adapted, with their blessing, directly from their own community safety guidelines. Their kindness to let us use their words means a great deal to us.
We searched high and low for exemplary COVID-19 guidelines for coworking communities, and their COVID guidelines are the best we’ve ever seen. Check them out when you’re in SF!
